Education & expertise
I’ve studied Cinematography specialized in Editing, and continued my education with two masters on Audiovisual Communication Arts and direction on Fiction TV Series, as well as various courses on screenwriting, editing and digital composition. For over 15 years I have worked with film and television companies (Netflix, Disney+, TVE, Filmax, Atresmedia, Globomedia, Bambú, Plano a Plano…) and international agencies and clients (BBVA, Endesa, Ferrari, Piaggio, Orange, Cepsa…), acquiring knowledge and skills with a clear aim: that audiovisual media, besides being my passion, would be my livelihood.
In-House productions
I have written, produced and directed short films that have been screened and awarded in countries around the world, and I strongly believe in the term “film d’auteur”. This does not mean that I only carry out “small” projects, and I also embark myself on genres such as science fiction or action, shooting outdoors and using all possible practical special effects. In such a way, I’ve been testing my limits and ideas working with actors and crew of great talent. After these short films and proofs of concept, in recent years I’ve channeled my efforts in the gestation of novels, feature films and television series.
At present
I develop my work as a director and editor on demand in documentaries, ficion, advertising, trailers and TV formats, and as a teacher and action director for Jose A. Rojo’s Stunt Team. I focus my efforts on bringing to the screen my feature film screenplays «Where songs are born”, «Blind Bullets», «Destroy Madrid» and «The Hunt», along with the television series projects «Kaplan Investigations» and «REM». Furthermore, I am immersed in the writing of my next novel.
I am part of the Association of Audiovisual Editors of Spain —AMAE— and the Association of Writers and author’s rights of Audiovisual Media —DAMA—.
